And last but not least, aka: something I just ran into
today 3/18/09 that I knew nothing about and am exploring that hits on a
particular facet of myself:
Fursuit, aka: Furries
I am a supporter of bittorrent technology for file transfers and downloads. It's a method of distributing the servers over many clients rather than one download server at high expense to the vendor (etc.). But to say it's illegal is like outlawing telephones because of all the crime committed on them (you should find a way to survey that and you'll be surprised that it's really, really bad!) or for that matter the snail mail system hence the post office's law (I forgot what it's called) something about 'committing a crime by mail is a federal offense or such'. Mail fraud? I don't remember. But that kind of system for bittorrent should be enacted and others though it's not theft but just copyright violation. I've read and studied about the issues for years and have a good understanding of the concepts and the law regarding music and movie downloads or copying. But I digress. I just wanted it understood that I'm not a fanatic but that I have learned about the subject fairly.
So, one such site I like is www.demonoid.com (banner
stopped working! Site is under repair but is still in business):

Another I use heavily before I ran into Demonoid is:

Though I didn't find a PirateBay banner on their site I have
this:
Now if someone intelligent (I'm having a hard time finding any in government!) would properly setup and legislate this whole mess (copyright vs. file sharing & it's concepts like PROMOTION by way of sharing which used to be legal music wise - like 'mix tapes'!. The DMCA took away too many rights including making a backup copy of your PURCHASED DVD that is a bit too fragile forcing frequent and expensive "gifts" to major corporations feeding the "fat cats" (yes, in a way I aspire to lead a business myself, so I'm a hypocrite. Just not as morally bankrupt.).
I also sell on Ebay mainly focusing on western wear and cowboy boots (I grew up on a farm). I used to use "r.d.garrett" as I was planning on going "professional" with "R.D.Garrett Western Wear". Didn't happen.
Twitter? What's that?
Also on this site is the remains of a previous build (link) that I was filling in. I never thought I could afford my own URL so I was caught off guard.
